Focussed on portrayed the very real and terrifying setting of war, Six Days in Fallujah takes no part in the providing its players for a glamorized rendition of being a soldier in the midst of battle. Rather than trying to go nuclear on a close quarters map such as Nuketown or Shipment by getting 30 kills without dying, the simulation from the soldier’s perspective, serving in the Second Battle in Fallujah, is one that focusses on teamwork and communication. The Fireteam offers 4 unique Roles for players to choose from as they enter into the Mission which can be to clear, protect or secure an area. This is Vincent’s guide on the best Role to use in Six Days in Fallujah.
What is the Best Role/ Class to Use in Six Days in Fallujah?
As Six Days in Fallujah remains in its Early Access state, the game provides players with a limited choice between a total of 4 Roles. These act similarly to Call of Duty’s Class System in which players have a specific primary weapon and unique tactical/lethal equipment to provide different support to their team. Unlike other FPS games, there is no unique distinction between the Roles aside from their primary weapon and equipment. There is also no room to make adjustments or upgrades to alter the Role to your liking. Instead, the Roles act as the different support systems as part of the Fireteam in place for different scenarios you will face in the Missions. For instance, you should utilize the Assist Role when breaching rooms that could house armed personnel inside.

Divided into 4 Roles for the Fireteam – Team Lead, Ready, Assist and Fire; these provide the necessary support needed to completing each Mission. Although the Roles are determined strictly by the IGL (in-game leader) in the Mission Lobby, you can develop a strategy before going in on who would be best in each Role. Whether you have played FPS games for years prior to Six Days in Fallujah, you may find yourself more drawn towards a more aggressive playstyle, adopting a close-quarters combative role rather than picking shots utilizing the Rifle in Ready Class.
Best Class for Beginners and Casual Players
For those playing Six Days in Fallujah casually, whether they play Call of Duty for fun (who does that anymore?) or only for a few hours at a time, the best Role for you would be either the Ready or Fire Role. This is because the Ready Role gives you the most general and adaptable Role to use, with lethal equipment to clear congested areas and provide an overview of support for your fellow teammates with the single-fire Rifle. Alternatively, the Fire Role is good for those who are not used to rocking the single-fire which will require precision in its use. The Fire Role has an LMG which offers a larger magazine with the capacity to be much more forgiving for shots being missed.
Best Class for FPS Veterans
For those who are used to facing other players, artillery combat, and/or completing the numerous Campaign Missions across Call of Duty’s entries, the Team Lead Role is the one for you. Being a natural born leader in regard to taking charge to leading a team, the Team Lead utilizes a Grenade Launcher Attachment for breaching and clearing. You will make most of the close-quarter combat calls whilst leading your Assist teammate at the point of entry upon surveying the area for enemies.
Finally, we highly recommend the Assist Role for the most versatile player, typically being the fragger of an FPS game. There is no going on your own in this game as you will be cruelly punished. Because of this, the Assist Role offers two primary weapons at your disposal for adaptability in all situations. This is the Class that provides an all-round supportive system whilst feeling as though you are an independent soldier on the field. The Shotgun is incredibly useful for building fights, whilst the M16 offers combative support for your teammates. It is the most versatile Role available in Six Days in Fallujah and for this reason, we deem the Assist Role to be the best to use.
