Best Phoenix Decks in Clash Royale

Show your enemies what Phoenix is made of!

The Phoenix card came flying into Clash Royale and with it a whole new set of new opportunities. The Phoenix is a Legendary card for an aerial unit with slow movement speed, moderate tankiness, and moderate damage with a slow attack rate. A unique ability that this card has is that once the Phoenix dies, it spawns an egg in its place which could then revive it if not destroyed in time.

The Phoenix is unlocked in Spooky Town (Arena 12) and allows for versatile gameplay in your decks, so let’s dig into the best Phoenix Decks in Clash Royale and show you what it’s made of.

Phoenix Lava-Loon Deck

  • Balloon
  • Barbarians
  • Lava Hound
  • Miner
  • Inferno Dragon
  • Phoenix
  • Arrows
  • Zap

A perfect weapon for any aggressive-style player, this deck will allow you to do a combo with Lava Hound, Balloon, and arrows to wipe out the opponent. You can use Inferno Dragon to counter any enemy tanks and put him in the front lines when you need a solid damage soaker. Add to that Miner’s ability to pop up anywhere on the map and surprise enemies and the swarm of Barbarians with high hitpoints that rush the enemy and you got yourself a pretty scary bunch. Keep your Phoenix in the middle of all this as getting him too close can mean quick death (both of them) and staying too far behind can render him useless as he still is a single-target melee attacker.

Phoenix Zappies Deck

  • Baby Dragon
  • Minion Horde
  • Hunter
  • Ram Rider
  • Zappies
  • Phoenix
  • Cannon
  • Heal Spirit

Phoenix Zappies deck can be challenging to master but once you manage to play it to its full potential some enemies’ heads are gonna roll. Ram Rider will be your main DPS in this deck, and Baby Dragon and Heal Spirit will be there to assist and buff him. For defensive purposes, you should use the Minion Horde and the Cannon. Phoenix and Minion Horde can exploit any lack of air-attacking units in the enemy ranks and fly in to easily defeat them.

Phoenix Giant Deck

  • Electro Giant
  • Fireball
  • Giant
  • Graveyard
  • Heal Spirit
  • Phoenix
  • Tornado

Place your tanky Giant in the front lines while casting Graveyard near the enemy tower. Giant will tank all the damage from the tower while the horde of up to 14 skeletons will chip away at it and destroy it. Tornado is great in combination with Graveyard as it pulls away the units from it and allows Skeletons to be effective. Phoenix is naturally complemented with tanky units (or any units) around it to take damage on its behalf and save its egg when it dies.
