4. Pathfinder: Adventures

Pathfinder: Adventures is a spin-off card game available on Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, and macOS. It’s a simple card game in which you travel worldwide to compete against other card players with recurring scenes from Pathfinder characters. It features the Rise of the Runelords campaign maps like Sandpoint and Thistlestop.

Although this is the first Pathfinder game, it’s the weakest out of everything else because of its game-breaking bugs, and some even say that the game is generally hard to force microtransactions. It didn’t live up to the expectations of long-running tabletop fans as Pathfinder: Adventures had drastic changes that strayed away from what made the game fun.

3. Pathfinder: Duels

Pathfinder: Duels is the second spin-off card game from the famous tabletop available for Android and iOS. It uses the standard mana system, similar to Heartstone. The placement of your cards makes this game fun, as their positioning determines the order of effects and the cards they’ll be attacking.

Although the game was a step above Pathfinder: Adventures, it still didn’t take off, even with the unique twists and turns that it tried to incorporate. It feels as if you’re playing Games of the General but in Heartstones format, which is exciting and satisfying.

2. Pathfinder: Kingmaker

Pathfinder: Kingmaker came from a Kickstarter project and is now a fully-fledged CRPG. The game starts slow, starting with a few characters until you fully build your kingdom. The map looks like an actual tabletop game, which adds to the appeal since it’s similar to the physical one.

RNG heavily influences this game, which is typical for any Dungeons and Dragons tabletop game. The game also has a lot of depth regarding character building while having the option to automate these choices.  There’s also a lot of decision-making involved per playthrough, as many of these choices have consequences.

Overall, Pathfinder: Kingmaker is an awesome game that deserves to be in the top two of our ranking.

1. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous takes the top one on our list as it further expands on what Kingmaker did right. The game is a good entry point for anyone who wants to try these types of RPGs, as it slowly burns you through the luscious mechanics it has built. You’ll most likely forget that you’ve been spending hundreds of hours in the game, as it’s so fun to get lost in the interactions, decision-making, and character growth throughout the game.

It also has an expansive DLC, a gorgeous world design, and even a real-time battle system as your option. With the amount of customization and the number of decisions you make, every playthrough feels like a new one which is the pinnacle of Pathfinder.
