Football season is back and with it, another year of Madden is in full effect. Madden aims to take the playbook and place it in the hands of normal people. It’s up to you to see if you have what it takes to succeed in one of the many multitude of modes available. For the most part, you’ll be selecting the plays and routes your team will be executing in the majority of these modes. As such, making sure you have the best playbooks imaginable is integral to winning consistently. This article will be focusing on the more aggressive side of the ball. We’re going to jump out of the locker room and take a look at the best offensive playbooks in Madden 24.

Almost any mode where you aren’t controlling a single character (a-la Superstar Mode) allows you to change up the playbooks for your team. Meaning just because you want to test out the new Aaron Rodgers Jets team, doesn’t mean you have to stick with their playbook. And if you are a person who pays attention to the real-world NFL teams, you might already have a few ideas for good playbooks. Offensively, you’ll want to make sure the playbooks you select have a good mix of consistent flip routes.

If a playbook has a good route on one side, you’ll want to see if they have the exact same set-up on the opposite side of the field. Tripping up your opponents defense will help you air out some nice 30 yards bombs or, let you sneak past their D-line as you split the man coverage running down the field.
