Best Medic Build for Leveling in Remnant 2

Talk about the epitome of health

The Soldier 76 of the apocalypse has arrived, with the ability to wield heavy weapons and passively heal, you will find that the Medic is one of the best Archetypes to use in Remnant 2 and better yet, it is one of the 4 base Classes to choose from at the beginning of the game. Whether or not you like this google-wearing, bug-eyed appearance soldier, his kit is a little too good to pass up. Playing solo or with allies, you will want the supportive capabilities that the Medic holds. But with so many options for your Secondary Archetype, what should you pair with the fast-revival time, shield bearing, damage buffed and Relic Charger of the Medic Class? This is Vincent’s guide on the best Medic Build to use in Remnant 2.

The Medic is best used as intended – a supportive role. Because of this, you will want to utilize the Secondary Archetype to add damage where the Medic lacks. Although it is no big deal what your character looks like, you may wish to sport a different look to the Medic. If this is the case, you will need to get the Medic as a Secondary Archetype which can then be switched out to keep the Regenerator Relic Charge. The Medic Archetype can be purchased as an unique item inside Ward 13 via the Vendor of Dr. Norah. From there you can take the item, in this case the Medic Pin to Wallace who will charge you for the Engram.

You can then switch Primary Archetype within the Character Screen via the Prime Archetype Icon at the top-left. This will swap over the Prime Perk but keep the other 8 Perks working simultaneously to improve the Build.

Medic and Challenger Build Summary (Co-op)

If you are playing Remnant 2 with two friends, you will want to rock this Build which is the perfect Supportive Build for all boss fights. The Medic Prime Perk of Regenerator is best here as it offers a Relic Charge replenishment should you use it in a fight and have healed a total of 250 health to your allies. This is incredibly useful in the early portion of the game where your Dragon Heart Relic only has 3 uses available. Paired with the Challenger, the Medic provides the necessary heal-up for all party members whilst being able to get in close to the boss with your Close Quarters and Intimidating Prescence that both increases ranged and melee damage along with reducing damage taken by enemies within a 10 meter radius using the Challenger Perks.

What the Challenger provides is a tanky Class that works seamlessly with the Medic. As you will want to get in close with weapons such as the Rusty Lever, Hellfire, Spectral Blade, or Rune Pistol, you will likely absorb more damage than your teammates. Because of this, the Challenger will keep you alive long enough to use your Relic Charge, replenishing it within a short amount of time and offering a 25% damage increase via the Invigorated Perk.

When pairing Skills across the two Archetypes, you should utilize the Challenger’s Juggernaut and the Medic’s Healing Shield. The increased melee damage from the Juggernaut works perfectly with Medic’s close-range weaponry. Whilst the Shield aids your allies by passively healing and providing protecting to move in and dish out close-range damage in Juggernaut Mode.

Medic and Gunslinger Build Summary (Solo)

For those playing solo we recommend Gunslinger for an added DPS role that the Medic will need. As the Medic will provide that necessary support you will need throughout the game, especially in the earlier playthrough of Remnant 2 due to its Relic Charge replenishment, the Medic does not have a lot in regard to damage output. Whilst our co-op recommendation is prioritizing the healing of your teammates over all else, this would not be the same case when you are playing alone. Because of this, the Gunslinger Archetype should be your Secondary upon picking Medic as your Primary. The Gunslinger is a versatile weapons handler that can work with any weapon types, including close-range and melee recommended for the Medic.

Although the Loaded Prime Perk is one of the best in the game, we will want to prioritize the replenishment of Dragon Heart Relic Charges, especially early on in the game. But overall, the Gunslinger provides extra damage with the ability to fast reload, increase fire rate and drop rate of ammo to keep you dishing out damage whilst being able to heal using the Healing Shield of the Medic. As the Medic is a Class that works better up close and personal to enemies, it is best to use the Quick Draw Skill of Gunslinger to deal 93 damage for 6 bullets to any enemies within a 25 meter radius.

That was our Medic Build recommendation for Remnant 2. We hope you found some inspiration with this read. For more on the latest gaming guides, be sure to see all new GJ articles produced here. Thank you for reading.
