Dragon-Type PokemonShiny Location in Paldea
AxewFound in South Province (Area One) atop the hill between the two bridges taking you into South Province (Area Three). You can either do a loop around the hill slowly where Axew will spawn always in this area, or Picnic Reset. The other area where you can find loads of Axew spawns is in the South Province (Area Three) Canyon, located on the eastern edge of Paldea. Just after crossing the bridge into Area Three, head south-east. This Pokémon can be found atop the hill. Once again, you can use the Picnic Method to reset spawns quicker. Alternatively you can use the Ruins in the area to despawn the Axew. The final spot to Shiny Hunt is at Zapapico West Pokémon Centre, using the Town Method to reset the spawns from the Centre to Dalizapa Passage. This Pokémon will spawn near the Passage path.
FraxureFast-travel to North Province (Area One) Watchtower and walk across west to North Province (Area One) Pokémon Centre. You will see family spawns of Axew with singular Fraxure spawning with them. You can also use the Picnic Reset or Mass Outbreak Method in the centre of this area to increase your chances.
FrigibaxThere is not a specific spot to search for this Pokémon as it can appear anywhere on Glaseado Mountain. Therefore you can use a Shiny Dragon Sandwich to target this Pokémon and use the Picnic Method if you want a fast-track means of Shiny Hunting. The Shiny form is tough to spot, you need to look out for the pink feather coming off its hand, instead of always seeing a yellow feather.
GoomyIn the small pond area of South Province (Area Four), east of the river going into South Paldean Sea. You can Shiny Hunt for this Pokémon very early in the game. Use the Picnic Method to increase your odds. This Pokémon appears all around the ponds in this area so it will be easy to spot. Another spot to Shiny Hunt Goomy is in the swamps of South Province (Area Five), right next to the East Paldean Sea.
SliggooSliggoo and Goomy can both be found on Casseroya Lake’s Islands. The specific spot is the southern Island off West Province (Area Two). You can find families of these Pokémon at the top of this Island. Once again, use the Picnic Method to reset the spawns faster.
TatsugiriTatsugiri can be found at the north-west and south-west side of Casseroya Lake, before going to the Islands. This Pokémon can be found on the majority of the Islands on the Lake. Do not check the Lake itself for this Pokémon. You can reset some spawns using the Town Method via Socarrat Trail and Casseroya Lake. Or use the Picnic Reset Method. As they are a tiny Pokémon, make sure you slowly check for Shiny. They come in three different Shiny colors: white, brown with orange stripes and orange with yellow stripes.
Dratini/ DragonairFound in the centre of Casseroya Lake. Tatsugiri will also appear here, making your Shiny Hunting a bit harder as three Dragon-Type Pokémon will spawn. You could either swim through the area, circling an Island to reset the spawns or head onto the Island itself to reset so you are only looking at one particular spot of the Lake for Dratini and Dragonair. You can also find these Pokémon at North Province (Area One) Watchtower, in the body of water. Going here means you can utilize the Picnic Method. The last location is in North Province (Area Two) inside a Pit south-west of West of Fury Falls fast-travel. It is located at the top of a hill, looking like a dried up water bowl with a spike in it.
DragoniteThe very far eastern edge of North Province (Area Two). Follow the river east from Glaseado Mountain into the East Paldean Sea. This Pokémon can be found where the river ends and the Sea starts. You know you are in the right spot when you see a Tera Dragonite. There are not many that appear here so a Picnic Method might be best to use to Shiny Hunt this Pokémon.
Noivern/ NoibatThe best spot to Shiny Hunt Noibat is in North Province (Area Two). Go to the far-east side of this area. If you look at the map you need to go to where Paldea comes inwards (looks like a ‘C’ shape). You want to hunt in the areas between the cliffs/rock formations. You can also find Noivern here but in smaller spawns.
CyclizarThe main spot to hunt Cyclizar is on the Island in the river of East Province (Area Two). As it is such a small area, you can Picnic Reset and check the whole Island very easy without moving. You can also hunt in a spot just north of Asado Desert and slightly east of Porto Marinada. You can use the Porto Marinada Pokémon Centre for fast-travel. Cyclizar will appear in close proximity to the Centre.
GibleIn the Caves south of Cortondo. You need to cross the river to find the Caves. As you enter the Caves you are also entering West Province (Area One). You can use the Town Method to reset spawns in the middle of the Caves tunnel.
GabiteYou can find this Pokémon in Alfornado Cavern, just south of West Province (Area One Central). Follow the path from the wind turbines all the way down until you reach the Cavern. Either reset spawns by exiting and re-entering the Cavern, you can just search the ground floor of the Cavern for the Pokémon. Keep in mind that 3 Dragon Pokémon will appear here so you may wish to use the Picnic Method to target Gabite.
Swablu/ AltariaHead east from Alfornado, going up the hill you will see these family spawns of both Swablu and Altaria. There a big gap between the spawns so you can head up and down the hill (reaching the very top before heading back down) to reset spawns. This is probably the best method though it may take a while. These also spawn in North Province (Area One) Watchtower, by the body of water. You can walk through and search the entire area west of the Watchtower where families will spawn in.
ApplinCan be found in Tagtree Thicket in the trees. You need to look out for trees with apples in them and when you find them you need to bump into the tree for the Applin to fall out. This is one of the slowest processes for Shiny Hunting. You could increase your chances further using the Shiny Charm. We do not recommend Picnic Resetting here as you could miss the Shiny Applin. You need to check the trees every time for this hunt. The Shiny color we are looking for is a green apple.
Deino (Scarlet)Found in Alfornado Cavern, south of West Province (Area One Central) wind turbines. Follow the path all the way down until you reach its dead end. Use the cave entrance to reset the spawns or use a Picnic. You can just search the ground level of the Cavern as many Dragon-Type Pokémon including Deino will appear.
Roaring Moon/ Zweilous (Scarlet)Research Station 3 of Area Zero. Use the scorched circle markings on the floor to reset the spawns of the nearby Pokémon in the vicinity. you cannot use the Picnic Method here so just rotate around the circles on the floor which will reset the spawns.
Skrelp/ Dragalge (Scarlet)Found in East Paldean Sea just west of Casseroya Lake, between the lake and the river above Porto Marinada. These Pokémon can be found in between the Paldean edge and the rock formations in the Sea. Use the Beach to reset the spawns inside the Sea.
Shelgon (Violet)Found in Alfornado Cavern, you want to go to the top of the Cavern to hunt for this Pokémon. Keep in mind that Gabite and Gible will spawn here too. Use the path going up and down the peak of the Cavern to reset the spawns.
Bagon (Violet) East Province (Area Three) Pokémon Centre, they spawn in within close proximity of the Centre meaning you can easily use the Picnic Method here to change spawns. You can also find this Pokémon in South Province (Area One) in between the two bridges of South Province (Area Three). Axew will appear here also.
Dreepy/ Drakloak (Violet)Both Dreepy and Drakloak can be found inside the pit of North Province (Area Two). You can use the West of Fury fast-travel located in the sandy biome of this Province. Head south outside of this biome and go up the hill where you will find what looks like a pond of water on the map. When it is more like a dried up Pit.
