Best Havoc Demon Hunter Builds in World of Warcraft Dragonflight

Wreck havoc on your enemies.

Havoc Demon Hunter has been the choice of many players who were looking for a solid and reliable DPS in WoW Dragonflight. Even though Demon Hunters have a solid tank specialization – Vengeance, the Havoc one has charmed many players due to its easy approach for beginners, high AoE damage output, great survivability, and mobility.

However, before you choose Havoc Demon Hunter you should know that it lacks good damage output outside its main spells, and when those cooldowns are out, you don’t hurt enemies much. Having said that, it is still one of the best dungeon raid damage dealers in the game.

Builds for Havoc Demon Hunter

When you wish to clear dungeons with Havoc Demon Hunter there are a couple of things you should keep in mind. First thing is, the build will have slight differences depending if you wish to prioritize single-target damage or AoE damage.

In the case of a single-target damage build, you should utilize the Momentum talent that allows your movement spells to increase your damage output. For example, when you use Hunt or Fel Rush to charge your enemies you will have more damage to rip them apart with. Essence Break and especially the critical strike guarantee spell Eye Beam will offer some AoE solutions in this build.

If you wish to go for a full AoE build you should amp up your Glaive throwing skills. The basic Throw Glaive skill can be significantly upgraded to deal more damage and cause targets to be more vulnerable. Pair this with disabling combo of the Chaos Nova spell that stuns all enemies near you and a follow-up of Sigil of Misery that causes fear and disables them for 20 seconds, and you will dominate the battlefield.

When it comes to gear always prioritize the item level and socket availability over stats. After that, you should look for Critical Strike bonuses as your talent Know Your Enemy allows for awesome scaling. Haste, Mastery, and Versatility should be other stats to keep an eye on that can scale fairly well with Havoc Demon Hunter.
