Bayonetta 3: All Post-Game Unlockables

They'll keep you coming back for more.

One of Platinum’s longtime codas is an emphasis on replayability. Beating their games, Bayonetta 3 include, often doesn’t take that long compared to some other games. To alleviate that, the game gives you lots of rewards and incentives to replay levels and maximize your score. Here are all the post-game unlockables in Bayonetta 3.

Bayonetta 3: All Post-Game Unlockables

After you’ve finished Bayonetta 3’s main campaign, you’ll unlock a variety of new modes, features, and challenges that’ll more than incentivize you to keep on playing (as if the game itself wasn’t reason enough). Some of these extras will need to be purchased at the Gates of Hell with large quantities of Homonculus Seeds, though, so hopefully, you’ve been saving up.

The post-game unlockables for Bayonetta 3 include the following:

  • Playable Jeanne
  • Infinite Climax difficulty
  • Climax Earring
  • Platinum Ticket
  • Witch Trials

Playable Jeanne

Felt like Jeanne didn’t get enough of the action in the game’s story? Put her in the spotlight by making her your player character! Jeanne plays mostly the same as Bayonetta, save for a few cosmetic differences and weapon tweaks.

Infinite Climax Difficulty

Clear the game on Expert difficulty and left wanting? Fine then, tough guy, see if you can surmount Infinite Climax difficulty, or to use the proper nomenclature, “Non-Stop ∞ Climax.” This is the highest difficulty setting in Bayonetta 3, tailor-made by Platinum to not just kick your butt, but completely and utterly decimate it.

One of several traditions of the Bayonetta series, the Climax Earring is the latest in game-breaking post-game unlocks. When purchased from the Gates of Hell for 80,000 Seeds and equipped, the Climax Earring gives you both infinite magic and infinite Masquerade Rage meter. The trade-off for this is that you can’t record any chapter scores set while it’s equipped. It’s just there for when you want to breeze through chapters, bulldozing everything in your way.

Platinum Ticket

Another Bayonetta tradition, the Platinum Ticket can be purchased from the Gates of Hell for a whopping 999,999 Seeds. Purchasing this ticket will immediately launch you into a boss fight against none other than Rodin, his full demonic might unleashed. He’s the toughest boss in the game, but you’ll get something cool if you can beat him.

Witch Trials

Think you’ve got the skills to survive? Take on the Witch Trials, a series of gradually escalating combat challenges with bigger and meaner enemies every round. It’s a great way to make some quick cash!

It’s a longstanding belief that completing a Platinum game’s story is just the beginning of the real challenge. After you beat Bayonetta 3’s story, then you can prove yourself the toughest witch on the block.
