All Stat Caps in Fire Emblem Engage

When stat capping is the new level capping

Fire Emblem Engage as the newest mainline entry in the long-running JRPG series has seen some notable changes to its formula to keep the entry fresh and exciting. One such defining element is how level capping tended to be the norm to indicate unit growth. From Shadow Dragon on the DS all the way to the other mainline game on the Switch of Three Houses, level capping was the way to build and improve your units.

Fire Emblem Engage throws that out in favor of stat capping. This makes it so that promoting units as soon as possible is the best way of approaching the game since units retain the stats they saw increase in prior classes. So, while they “reset” back to level 1, they have reached the maximum growth stat wise in the Class they are by the time they hit level 20.
