Platform Availability

The spin-off Multiplayer game is a Free-to-Play horror experience with servers of 7 players. Play with strangers or friends, create servers or run a quick play Game Mode. PROJECT: PLAYTIME is currently only available to play on Steam. The game file is 10.54GB and is likely to increase in size as time passes on. With a full access version releasing within the first half of 2023. It is very likely that PROJECT: PLAYTIME will become available on other platforms upon its full game release. Particularly on Android and IOS as its single player story of Poppy Playtime is available on both mobile phone stores.

Will PROJECT: PLAYTIME Be Available on Other Platforms?

Whether or not this game alongside Poppy Playtime will become available on console is unknown. But we can expect to see far more from MOB GAMES. As PROJECT: PLAYTIME is in its initial stages, with players accessing the earliest form of the game. We will likely see many changes to come, including that of how to play the game.

Will MOB GAMES go down the same path as Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight? It is hard to say and completely depends on its popularity as a game. As Poppy Playtime increases in popularity with every chapter, its full release will likely see its time on a new platform. Whether this Horror will hit the popularity of something like InnerSloth’s Among Us which started on PC and mobile is unknown. But I would not put it past them. So long as its linear storyline is concisely executed with a great ending, we will likely see a similar success story with PROJECT: PLAYTIME as we have seen previously with Among Us.
