Medali Gym Challenge

The Medali Gym Test requires players to venture out into the town, chat to the locals and beat other challengers. Players are told via the man at the front desk in the Medali Gym that they must first chat to the three Trainers who are attempting this challenge. You must find these trainers and battle them. Only when you have beaten the trainers will they reveal their clue.

The goal is to figure out the Secret Dish in the popular Medali restaurant, Treasure Eatery. Once you have got the answer via the hints given to yourself and the three challengers, you must go to Treasure Eatery and order the secret dish. As players would have likely fought the challengers in whichever order, they found them in, players must enter the secret menu items in a specific order to pass the test. This is made clear by the multiple options that is given to you when attempting the challenge in the Treasure Eatery.

The Secret Menu Clues and Answers

The clues given in the Medali Test are:

  • First Challenger – “The odd-one-out at one of the Ice Cream stands” (This challenger is a child, located right outside the Treasure Eatery)
  • Second Challenger – “A dark spot surrounded by stairs” (Female challenger, located around the corner from the ice cream vendor, she is wearing a blue vest, standing at the top of some stairs).
  • Third Challenger – “Listen really closely to the Blue Bird Pokémon” (Turn left, away from the Pokémon Centre. Follow the town path and go around the corner. You will see a male challenger here)
  • Your Clue – “How the regulars season their dishes” (Get this clue at the front desk in Medali Gym)

Locations of the Medali Test answers:

  • First Challenge – Go to the Ice cream vendor, look at the options and find the out-one-out. The answer is Grilled Rice Balls.
  • Second Challenge – Go down the stairs after battling and beating the female challenger. Inspect the wall gate to receive the next answer which is Fire Blast.
  • Third Challenge – At the intersection, past the male challenger that you just beat, there is a man with a talking Squawkabilly on his shoulder. The Squawkabilly will say Meedyum. This is the answer.
  • Your Challenge – Head into the Treasure Eatery restaurant. Go speak to the Office Worker (man in the black suit) in the top left-corner of the restaurant/by the kitchen. He will give you the final answer of Lemon.

The Medali Gym Test Answers and Order

Now that you have all your answers, return to the front of the restaurant and speak to the Restaurant Staff Worker wearing a green apron. You will get a large pop-up display initiating the Gym Test. This is the order to put in your answers:

  • Grilled Rice Balls
  • Medium Serving
  • Extra Crispy, Fire Blast Style
  • Lemon
