With a worldwide launch date of October 14, 2022, NHL 23 is fast approaching, and for the first time ever, the latest version in the famous EA series will feature a woman on the cover. As both Anaheim Ducks’ superstar Trevor Zegras and Canadian professional hockey and women’s national team member, Sarah Nurse, will each grace the cover of NHL 23.
Now that we’re almost a month away from the official release date, it’s time to break down all of the NHL 23 pre-order bonuses and editions of the game.
All NHL 23 Pre-Order Bonuses & Editions
This year, NHL 23 will once again be available to pre-order leading up to October 14 for all PlayStation and Xbox users. Plus, thanks to the inclusion of cross-play, players from each system will be able to play against one another as well.

Currently, there are two versions of the game available to pre-order, each with its own array of exclusive bonuses. There’s the standard edition of NHL 23 as well as the special X-Factor edition. Here are the pre-order bonuses for each.
NHL 23 – Standard Edition
The Standard Edition of NHL 23 costs $59.99 (USD) on the PS4 and Xbox One, while the PS5 and Xbox Series X copies cost $69.99 (USD). Here are the bonuses you will receive for pre-ordering this version of the game;

NHL 23 – X-Factor Edition
Outside of the exclusive pre-order content, the X-Factor Edition of NHL 23 is worth purchasing if you need dual entitlement for last-gen and current-gen consoles. Currently, the X-Factor Edition of NHL 23 costs $99.99 (USD) for every system. Included in the list of pre-order bonuses are those mentioned above with the Standard Edition, as well as the following;

Also, if you pre-order the X-Factor Edition of NHL 23 before September 16, then you will also receive a HUT Team Builder Choice Pack (2 of 32).
