Since the arrival of multiplayer, most players find themselves clambering to find a weapon in Project Zomboid. Which oftentimes results in everybody migrating to the nearest police station to clean it out. Unfortunately, this not only leads to more zombies but also a lack of weapons, as they’re all gone. All Gun Store Locations in Project Zomboid
As previously mentioned, most players in Project Zomboid typically tend to stick to places like police stations, military bases and armories to find guns. However, any gun store in the game can be broken into so long as you have a sledgehammer. Which can be found in any garage, tool shed, hardware store, or fire station in Project Zomboid.

- Riverside Police Station
- Rosewood Police Station
- West Point Police Stations
- West Point Gun Store
- Residential Homes
- Barricaded Buildings
- Louisville Police Outpost
- Louisville Army Surplus Store
- Louisville Military Check Point
- Military Base north of Rosewood
- Dixie Police Station
- Muldraugh Police Station
- Valley Station Shooting Range
As you can tell, guns are scattered throughout Project Zomboid. However, some of these places are going to be easier to get into than others. For example, the military base just north of Rosewood offers some of the best loot in the game. The issue is that it’s hidden and flooded with zombies, so, you’ll need to travel their in a group just to survive (assuming you’re even able to find it).
Similarly, the Valley Station shooting range is a fantastic place to find all sorts of weapons. Including high-powered guns like M14s or M16s along with loads of ammunition. The problem is that it’s so far out of the way. Nevertheless, all of the aformentioned places have guns and ammunition that can be looted.
