All God of War: Ragnarok Bosses

As stated, there are sixteen total boss battles in God of War: Ragnarok. Based on that number, it’d seem that the team at Sony Santa Monica wanted to give this iteration of Kratos an exciting sendoff, given the reports that Ragnarok is the final entry in the Nordic saga. Here’s each boss you’ll encounter:

  • Bjorn
  • Thor (first boss)
  • The Huntress
  • Dreki
  • Alva
  • Gryla
  • Vanadis (Freya)
  • Fiske
  • Nidhogg
  • Frost Phantom
  • Garm
  • Gulltoppr
  • Heimdall
  • Hrist and Mist
  • Thor (second boss)
  • Odin

It makes sense that an epic story like Ragnarok, set in the midst of the titular end-times myth, would pit players against Thor — who, might I remind you, was heavily featured in the marketing — but it’s also incredibly exciting to imagine what the fights against Odin, Heimdall, and Nidhogg are like. And, if this is, in fact, the final chapter in the Nordic Saga, it leaves fans to ponder what future installments could be like. Is it possible — nay, likely — that Kratos will challenge the likes of Osiris? What about Izanagi-no-Mikoto? I suppose only time will tell! Until then, it’s time to grind through the bosses in God of War: Ragnarok!
