All Codes and Dog Tag Locations in Amnesia: The Bunker

A gift from those we lost along the way

Amnesia: The Bunker may be randomly generated for each gameplay, but the locations in which you can find key items remains the same. If you are looking to get yourself a Shotgun to take down doors easier or a Gas Mask to scare away the Bunker’s pests, you will need to find codes. But codes cannot just be found anywhere and if you move too quickly, you may miss them all together. Players will need to find specific Soldier’s Dog Tags in order to obtain their Locker Codes for Mission Storage. We can tell you where you will find the Dog Tags and the Soldiers they belong to, however we cannot tell you the specific code. For this reason, this is Vincent’s guide on how to find every Dog Tag in Amnesia: The Bunker.

All Dog Tag Locations and Their Codes in Amnesia: The Bunker

As stated above, we cannot flat-out tell you what each code will be your playthrough as this is randomized. Whilst the Soldiers the Dog Tags belong to are also, to some degree, randomized, the actuall locations of Dog Tags can always be found in a set location. The crucial items to survive, gain the upper hand against the Beast and Rats, or to explore the Bunker more freely, require the correct Dog Tag code in order to unlock the corresponding Locker within the Mission Storage. We have highlighted in bold Dog tags that should always have the same Soldier linked to the Tag location. This is due to the fact that the lore and notes you find will point you in the Dog Tag’s direction, or say that the corpse you are looting is the Dog Tag’s wearer. For example, Delisle’s Dog Tag will always be found in Delisle’s room as he stayed holed up there until he died.

The order in which you collect Dog Tags effects what Soldier’s name you will see on the Tag. For this reason, we have noted that you should get one or the other Soldier’s name on the Tag you come across. Below is both a list and a marked map that you can refer back to when finding all 19 Dog Tags. Keep in mind that Lambert’s Dog Tag is located far into the Roman Tunnels, therefore its placement on the map is incorrect but could not be placed anywhere else. We have also noted what you will get with each Dog Tag, as some are far more important than others. Only specific Soldiers carry Locker Codes with goodies inside.

  1. Batiste Dog Tag – Administrator Office.
  2. Friloux Dog Tag – Generator Room (unlocks door to Central Bunker).
  3. Bardin Dog Tag – Mission Storage (Loot from Lockers).
