All Characters in Hello Neighbor 2

There's more than one neighbor to contend with here.

The original Hello Neighbor was a fairly contained game of cat and mouse between Nicky Roth and Theodore Peterson, the titular Neighbor. In Hello Neighbor 2, Peterson is still up to his unsettling shenanigans, but in addition to him, there is an entire cast of characters you’ll encounter. Some of them are nice and friendly. Most of them aren’t. Here are all the characters in Hello Neighbor 2.

Hello Neighbor 2 takes place in the small community of Raven Brooks, where every resident’s got quite a few secrets to hide. With multiple disappearances plaguing the town and everyone a little bit too reluctant to talk about them, it’s up to you to investigate their homes and uncover the truth that everyone is trying to keep hidden.

Quentin, The Protagonist

The new protagonist due to the disappearance of Nicky Roth since the first game, Quentin is an investigative reporter working for the Raven Brooks Banner. A snoop with a bad habit of sneaking into places he shouldn’t be, he’s pursuing the mystery of local weirdo Theodore Peterson while at odds with the exasperated police force.

Theodore Peterson, The Neighbor

The antagonist from the first Hello Neighbor, back up to his old tricks. Following the first game, the police conducted a search for Peterson, prompting him to go into hiding. Rumor has it he’s set up shop in an abandoned museum, but all of the town’s residents, the cops included, seem a little too afraid of him to do anything. Whatever he’s up to, Quentin’s pretty sure it has something to do with the missing people.

The Guest

A mysterious individual dressed in a crow costume who carries around a shining golden apple, which he protects viciously. Who this person is and what exactly they want are a riddle wrapped in an enigma, but the one thing we do know is that they really, really like kidnapping people, which is reason enough to steer clear of them.

Officer Keith Nielson

An officer with the Raven Brooks PD, Nielson is an old-fashioned cop and proud of it. He works hard, enjoys donuts, and is almost at retirement age. He and his partner, Officer Leslie, have been assigned to investigate the missing person cases, and they don’t especially appreciate nosy reporters pawing around while they’re checking out a crime scene.

Mr. Otto, The Taxidermist

A recluse living on the edge of town, Otto keeps mostly to himself, carving wooden sculptures and stuffing his latest hunting prizes. Fiercely protective of his property, Otto will brandish a broomstick at anyone who sets foot within ten feet of his home, which is unfortunately something you’re going to end up doing and then some.

The Mayor

It’s pretty much a given that any story set in a sketchy suburban town would have an equally sketchy mayor, and the Mayor of Raven Brooks is no exception. He lives in the mayoral mansion with his dog, Skipper, playing around, dancing to his jukebox, napping, and generally shirking his duties. If anyone would have the dirt on the town’s secrets, it’d be him.

Gerda, The Baker

The friendly owner and proprietor of the local Bakery, Gerda bakes fresh croissants every morning. Out of all the notable residents, she seems the least confrontational, though she doesn’t appreciate looky-loos in her kitchen.

All of the characters in Hello Neighbor 2 run on their own neural AI algorithms, meaning they’ll all fight you tooth and nail to keep their secrets under wraps. Hope you’re good at being sneaky, because you’re going to need to sneak past an entire town’s worth of creeps and weirdos.
