In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, there are plenty of ways to gather arcane Knowledge in the Abbey. From reading ancient texts and faded journals, to petting your pet hellhound Charlie. Though arguably the best, both in numbers and adorableness, is finding cats around the Abbey. If found, these cats can be pet by Hunter for a short while. As if that wasn’t good enough already, these feline friends have the potential to drop a lot of Arcane Knowledge. This Knowledge can increase the quality of rewards earned from Arcane Chests, giving players cooler stuff faster.
With that being said, how do players find the cats around the Abbey? They are hard to track down, as only one can appear per day. Even then. the location on where they spawn is at random. Leading players to wander the Abbey grounds for these animals. Fortunately, we’ve gathered where these hiding friends can appear, and put them all down. So now if you’re looking to pet a cat for some Arcane Knowledge, simply check these areas out.
All Locations to Find Cats
Library
In the Library is where the first of five potential spots for cats can be found. In this instance, a cat can be found lounging nearby the couch. And since you’re already there, might as well read through some books for some extra Arcane Knowledge.

Common Room
The Common Room is where most of the heroes of the Midnight Suns go to relax after the day is done. It’s also where players can encounter a cat. Between the bar and the piano is where the Hunter can find a cat, and more Arcane Knowledge.
The Shop
At The Shop, Robbie Reyes and Peter Parker work together to create new tech to assist the Hunter in battle. It’s also where a cat can be found as well. As soon as players enter The Shop a cat can be found.
Agatha’s Alter
An alter dedicated to Agatha Harkness, friend and mentor of the hunter. Perhaps the cat also wants to pay respects, Either way, one can be found on the right of the alter.
The Chapel
Finally, a cat can be lounging around, right where the Hunter took a three hundred year dirtnap. Inside the Chapel, another cat can be found.
