All Bayonetta 3 Accessories and Effects

A witch must know how to accessorize.

Among her numerous skills and interests, Bayonetta is an absolute fashion icon. She can make an outfit out of anything, she can make any outfit look good, and perhaps most importantly, she knows how to accessorize. Accessorizing, for a witch, isn’t just a fashion choice, it’s a practical choice. Here are all the accessories and effects in Bayonetta 3.

All Bayonetta 3 Accessories and Effects

Just like in the previous games, Bayonetta has the ability to equip a handful of different accessories in Bayonetta 3 in her Equipment menu. You can equip up to two accessories at once; they’re earrings this time so, y’know, two ears. Accessories convey a variety of different effects and bonuses, some more… overtly helpful than others. Incidentally, Viola can equip accessories independently of Bayonetta, so remember to equip stuff for her on her levels.

Most accessories are purchased from Rodin at the Gates of Hell with Homonculus Seeds, while others are given as rewards for clearing secret levels and conditions.

The available accessories, how you can get them, and their effects are as follows:

  • Gaze of Despair, 30,000 Seeds from Rodin: Automatically puts all enemies into the enraged state, making them stronger, but yield higher scores and rewards when defeated.
  • Selene’s Light, 40,000 Seeds from Rodin: Automatically activates Witch Time when attacked, consuming some magic in the process.
  • Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa, 50,000 Seeds from Rodin: Push the left joystick in the direction of an oncoming attack to deflect it. Perfect timing will also trigger Witch Time.
  • Eternal Testimony, 40,000 Seeds from Rodin: Increases the speed your magic replenishes after being completely drained.
  • Mallet of Rewards, 35,000 Seeds from Rodin: Gives a 25% Orb bonus when defeating enemies with Torture Attacks.
  • Ragewolf Fang, 80,000 Seeds from Rodin: Powers up Masquerade Rage attacks (the special moves you can use when the meter under your life fills up).
  • Immortal Marionette, 100,000 Seeds from Rodin: Lets you perform auto-combos with repeated Punch and Kick presses. Incurs score penalties when used on Standard difficulty or higher.
  • Nucleus of Talos, 60,000 Seeds from Rodin: Summoned Demons attack automatically instead of needing you to control them, allowing Bayonetta to keep moving.
  • Hymn of Durga, 70,000 Seeds from Rodin: Increases the power of summoned Demons, but makes them more susceptible to rampaging.
  • Conquerer’s Reins, 60,000 Seeds from Rodin: Prevents summoned Demons from rampaging due to enemy attacks.
  • Climax Earring, 80,000 Seeds from Rodin after beating the game: Gives infinite magic and Masquerade Rage, but disables chapter scoring.
  • Pulley’s Butterfly, Phenomenal Remnant reward: Hold Punch and Kick to summon a protective barrier of butterflies.
  • Infernal Communicator, Phenomenal Remnant reward: Hold Punch and Kick to summon Little Devils that attack enemies.
  • Star of Dineta, Phenomenal Remnant reward: Taunt enemies to restore some of your health.
  • Evil Harvest Rosary, Phenomenal Remnant reward: Instead of activating Witch Time, successful dodges instead trigger a powerful explosion.
  • Earring of Time, Phenomenal Remnant reward: Extends the duration of Witch Time.

Experiment with different accessories to find a playstyle that works for you. You think Bayonetta was born fashion-savvy? No sir, she had to work at it.
