The Artificer in SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is able to create glyphs and artefacts to improve your troops. This can yield simple results like the +10 attack or more complex like giving all your attacks special properties. Recipes are unlocked through experimentation, trying out a bunch of different essences and seeing what it creates.
