In Cult of the Lamb, your dark power comes from many different sources. One such wellspring comes in the form of Tarot Cards. These aren’t your traditional Tarot Cards. In fact, these offer specific bonuses that, when used strategically, can mean the difference between victory and defeat. But, new players might be asking — how do you add new cards to your collection? Here’s all you need to know!
How to Add New Tarot Cards
In the early-game, there are several ways to increase your Tarot Card count. In a crusade — or, when you journey into the Lands of the Old Faith — there’s a chance you could stumble upon a character named Clauneck. Clauneck’s area is a safe space from enemy encounters, and they’ll offer you a free Tarot Card.

Also, you may come across Tarot Cards as rewards for passing certain milestones in crusades. It should be noted, however, that Tarot Cards are reset after every crusade. So, while the game keeps a record of what cards you’ve received, their effects do not carry over from crusade to crusade. That said, there are other methods of increasing your Tarot Card collection outside of crusades, such as buying them from shops in Pilgrim’s Passage.
What Kinds of Tarot Cards Exist?
There are a vast multitude of Tarot Cards that you can make use of in Cult of the Lamb. From The Arachnid, which deals poison damage to enemies struck, to The Lovers 1, which adds one soul heart to your life energy. What’s more, there are some cards which increase your luck, your weapon damage, and much, much more!!
