Everybody knows that to build an elite MyPlayer in NBA 2K22, you need to equip various badges to improve your player’s ability in certain situations. And of all the different types of badges, shooting badges are arguably the most important. Since this is one of the most vital aspects of the game.

However, to become an effective and efficient shooter, you need to equip badges that will provide the necessary power-ups in a few key areas. So, we’ve created an NBA 2K22 tier list ranking all of the best shooting badges in the game.

NBA 2K22 Best Shooting Badges Tier List (November 2024)

Obviously, every badge in NBA 2K22 serves a different purpose and all are useful in certain situations. Your choice of badges is also highly dependent on the type of player you want to be and the position you play. That being said, there are still some badges that are more effective than others, and should be prioritized heavily as a result.

Without further ado, here’s our official NBA 2K22 tier list ranking all of the best shooting badges in the game.

Tier S Badges

  • Blinders – Less affected by peripheral defenders when shooting jump shots.
  • Sniper – Boosts the ability to hit shots when using Pro Stick aiming.

Tier A Badges

  • Deadeye – Less of a penalty on contested jump shots taken with a defender closing out.
  • Hot Zone Hunter – Boosts the shot percentage for attempts taken in a player’s favorite spot.
  • Stop & Pop – Boosts shot rating on stand-still three pointers after dribbling.

Tier B Badges

  • Catch & Shoot – Boosts the chance of hitting a three pointer immediately after a catch.
  • Circus Threes – Improve ability to hit pull-ups and step back three pointers.
  • Clutch Shooter – Increases the ability to knock down shots in clutch moments.
  • Limitless Spotup – Provides a boost to the range that a player can effectively shoot standing three-point shots.

Tier C Badges

  • Difficult Shots – Improves the ability to shoot difficult shots off the dribble from mid-range.
  • Green Machine – Increases the bonus given for consecutive excellent releases.
  • Mismatch Expert – Will have more success shooting over a taller defender after forcing a switch.

Tier D Badges

  • Chef – Provides a boost to the range that a player can effectively shoot off-the-dribble three-pointers.
  • Corner Specialist – Provides a boost to shots taken in the corner.
  • Volume Shooter – Boosts Shot percentages as shot attempts accrues throughout the game.

Tier E Badges

  • Fade Ace – Improves ability to shoot post fades.
  • Lucky #7 – Provides a boost to mid-range or three-point attempts taken within the first seven seconds of a possession.
  • Slippery Off-Ball – Strengthens the player’s ability to get open off the ball.

Tier F Badges

  • Rhythm Shooter – Boost shot percentage out of size-ups and one-step pull-ups.
  • Set Shooter – Shooting ability improves the longer you sit and wait before shooting.
