1. Equip Shields

In order to equip a shield you need to head into your inventory so you can equip it. Protect your body with a shield and don’t try attacking enemies without a solid defense. 2. Single Player Mode

Bloody Bastards has a single player mode where you can use to help swing in a few practice rounds. 5. Clothing Stages

I bet you didn’t know that your equipment has stages. Clothing in Bloody Bastards has three stages. As you progress you will unlock various types of equipment. You also can carry two weapons in both of your hands instead of one, so, if you don’t really care for a shield you could go all out.
