Top 5 Tips to Use in Bloody Bastards

1. Equip Shields

If you haven’t noticed you’re going to want to protect yourself when you’re fighting. The game literally places you in an unpredictable world, so you better have a shield to carry around, in order to protect yourself. In order to equip a shield you need to head into your inventory so you can equip it. Protect your body with a shield and don’t try attacking enemies without a solid defense. A great defense could be better than an enemies offense. Here’s a tip with your shield, try using your shield and place it over your opponents head. You can then stab them with your knife or sword.

2. Single Player Mode

Bloody Bastards has a single player mode where you can use to help swing in a few practice rounds. Online mode is cool and everything, but going up against pros, is not something you want to do if you’re unsure of gameplay. Just like with other online games you can hop into single player mode to learn new techniques, train without a training mode, and tone up your skills.

3. Stop Swinging!

Swinging your sword aimlessly might sound like a good idea for players who are familiar with bashing buttons in fighting games. In this game it’s not the best. When you swing your sword you are draining stamina. You know that thing that determines when you get tired? Just stop windmilling or you’ll be trying to catch your breathe, literally.

4. Best Early Item?

If you’re a beginner and you want to find a weapon that’s the best try going for a spear. It’s one of the best early-on items you can get. When you swing around a giant spear, while hitting your opponent, you’re creating a lot of damage. For all those windmilling players out there, a spear, also doesn’t drain your energy as much as other weapons.

5. Clothing Stages

I bet you didn’t know that your equipment has stages. Clothing in Bloody Bastards has three stages. As you progress you will unlock various types of equipment. We recommend before you buying these clothing pieces you check out their stats. Some armor could have the same effect as a piece that’s expensive. You also can carry two weapons in both of your hands instead of one, so, if you don’t really care for a shield you could go all out.
