Do Alpha Pokemon Respawn in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Do Alpha Pokemon Respawn in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Everything you need to know about Alpha Pokemon respawns in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

When your Pokemon become sufficiently strong in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you’ll probably want to backtrack to the game’s early areas to track down the Alpha Pokemon. With even levels, these battles become more straightforward encounters, though that also means you’re at risk of accidentally knocking Alphas out while trying to catch them. Anyone who has played Pokemon games long enough knows how agonizing a missed catch chance is, so you’d probably want to know: do Alpha Pokemon respawn in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Do Alpha Pokemon Respawn in Pokemon Legends: Arceus?

Thankfully, the answer is yes. Alpha Pokemon can respawn in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. In the event you pick a fight with an Alpha and accidentally knock it out, it will respawn in its territory after enough time has passed. Granted, that time is a substantial amount, so you might need to go bum around in a different game area for a little while before they reappear, but they will reappear eventually.

Even if you successfully catch an Alpha Pokemon, they’ll still respawn in the same spot after enough time has passed. Food chain and all that; another Pokemon has to step up to fill the Alpha slot. You’re free to catch it again if you want different effort values, something to trade with friends, or just want more of the same Pokemon. It is entirely possible to have an entire team of Alpha Snorlaxes, if you’re into that.

One little heads up, though: not all Alpha Pokemon have fixed spawn points. Some of them only have a random chance of appearing in particular spots or around other particular Alphas. In the event you knock them out, they may not appear in the same spot, even if you wait a while. Don’t worry, they haven’t been removed from the game; you just need to reset the area by leaving and reentering the area until their spawn comes up again.
