Where to Find Dusclops in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Learn where to find Dusclops and how to catch one for yourself in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Of all the Ghost Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus, few are as spooky as the Duskull line, and Dusclops especially. You wouldn’t know from looking at it, but Dusclops’ body has a tiny black hole within it from which nothing can escape. Creepy, but it also looks like a potato, which is kind of cute. If you’d like your own portable black hole, then here’s where to find Dusclops in Pokemon Legends Arceus.

Dusclops, along with Duskull if you’re interested, can be found wandering around Deadwood Haunt, located on the eastern coast of the Cobalt Coastlands. You’ll actually be required to catch a Duskull as part of the story mission “The Lordless Island,” as Diamond Clan member Iscan needs its particular brand of dark energy to whip up some tasty bait to summon Basculegion.

How to Catch Dusclops

Dusclops is an aggressive Pokemon, so if it sees you, you’ll be drawn into a fight. As a pure Ghost-type, Dusclops is weak against Dark types and other Ghost types, but remember to use such moves sparingly if you’re trying to catch it. Any other move type is fine with the exception of Normal and Fighting-type moves, which don’t affect Dusclops at all.

Deadwood Haunt’s hiding spots are a bit spaced out, but you can crouch in one to stake out a Dusclops if you’re lucky. As always, try to wait for it to turn its back, then lob a Poké Ball or Great Ball at the back of its head for a catch chance bonus. If you’re exceptionally lucky and the Dusclops appears close to your hiding spot, you can attempt to get in close and peg it with a Heavy Ball or Leaden Ball. Once you’ve got your Dusclops, you’ll be one step closer to riding around on Basculegion in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
