Where to find Chimchar in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Chimchar can be found just northeast of Deertrack Path in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Deertrack Path is in the central section of Obsidian Fieldlands, northwest of the Deertrack Heights. He likes to wander on top of the hills in this area and should be pretty easy to spot. Chimchar can also be spotted on Ramanas Island in the southwest of Obsidian Fieldlands; however, you will need to have a water Pokemon to get to the island.

How to Catch Chimchar in Pokemon Legends Arceus

When attempting to catch Chimchar or any other Pokemon, it’s important to gain the element of surprise. Your catch chance will be higher if you sneak up on the Pokemon and hit them in the back with the Pokeball. To crouch, press the “B” button, then try to get into some tall grass for extra cover. If you mess up and scare Chimchar, he might either fight you or run away. It’s always easier to try and be sneaky.
