Stone Evolution Eevees

Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Leafeon, and Glaceon are all Stone Evolution Eevees. That means these evolutions all require Evolution Stones. There are a few ways to get Evolution Stones: finding them, obtaining them through rewards, or buying them. You can buy each Evolution Stone for Merit Points (MP), which you can get by finding lost satchels around the map. Open the Lost & Found tab in-game to turn the lost satchels into MP. You can then exchange the MP with Simona at the Trading Post in Jubilife Village for the Evolution Stones. Each stone costs 1,000 MP.

When you have the Evolution Stones you need, open up your Satchel and select the stone. Use it on your Eevee to begin the evolution process, and sit back and watch it evolve! That said, Leafeon and Glaceon can be evolved by alternate means if you want to save some MP.

To get Leafeon, you can visit the Moss Rock in the southern region of the Obsidian Fieldlands (The Heartwood). Press X to evolve your Eevee into Leafeon while you are next to the Moss Rock.

To get Glaceon, head down into the icy cove found south of Avalugg’s Legacy in the Alabaster Icelands. Follow the underground icy path to the right until you find the Ice Rock. Press X to evolve your Eevee into Glaveon while you are next to the Ice Rock. Note that this part doesn’t unlock until a bit later in the game. If you are desperate for an Ice-type, consider spending the MP on the Ice Stone!

Friendship Level Evolution Eevees

Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon all require a specific level of friendship with Eevee. In short, you can increase your friendship levels by having Eevee in your party, battling with it, or just spending time with them in the game. You can refer to our guide on how to check Friendship Levels in Pokemon Legends Arceus if you’re not sure how to do that.

When you are at the appropriate friendship level with your Eevee, you can open up your Satchel and go to Eevee. Now, for Espeon and Umbreon, you’ll want to make sure Eevee only has normal moves. To evolve Eevee into Espeon, make sure it’s daytime, and for Umbreon, make sure it’s nighttime. You can head to Your Quarters or any expedition site and go to your bed to change the time of day. To get Sylveon, you’ll just need to make sure Eevee has the Baby-Doll Eyes move equipped.
