To everyone’s surprise, Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel hit all consoles earlier today, thanks to Konami. The game garnered over 100,000 players on Steam alone within hours of launch, and those numbers speak volumes about the popularity of the Japanese manga and trading card game we’ve come to know and love. It turns out 50 free packs are up for grabs in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel.
In this guide, we’ll explain how to get free packs in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel. There’s a bit of a catch, though. So, you’ll want to read through the guide completely to see if this applies to you. It’s very possible more free pack promotions like these pop up in the near future.
How to Get Free Packs in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel
Players can get free packs in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel with a PlayStation Plus membership. To successfully redeem these free packs, you’ll need to link up your Konami account and your PlayStation Plus account. You will get 50 free packs (Pack Ticket 50) for completing the process successfully. The promotion is possible for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players.
To take advantage of this offer, you can visit the PlayStation Store and claim the Pack Ticket 50 for $0.000 if you have a PlayStation Plus account. The offer ends on April 1, 2022, at midnight ET.
If you don’t have a PlayStation Plus account but know someone that does, it’s possible to link your Konami account with their account to take advantage of this promotion. That’s assuming your friend doesn’t care about ever playing this game, though.
At the time of writing, there are no similar deals for Nintendo Switch, Steam, or Xbox consoles. However, that does not mean a new promotion won’t pop up sometime soon. You can follow the official Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Twitter account to stay tuned to any future announcements. And as always, we’ll do our best to keep you posted.
Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The game is cross-platform compatible on all systems, and it will soon be coming to mobile devices (Android/iOS) as well.
