When looking to create a lightweight and fast build in Armored Core 6 you have quite a task on your hands. You need your mech to be swift, and deadly but also not a glass cannon that will die to a couple of strong attacks from the enemy.
Since creating a perfect speed build is so delicate, it needs to be done carefully. Every part of your robot killer needs to complement the other until you reach the perfect build harmony. Keep reading to find out how to choose the best head, arms, legs, core, generator, booster, and other vital parts!

Best Lightweight Build in Armored Core 6
For the best lightweight build, we decided to go for a melee fighter that can quickly move around and lash out some powerful close-range attacks that will make your enemies afraid of you as soon as they see you approaching.
You can describe this fighter build as something that came straight out of a Dragon Ball Z cartoon since you will be fighting enemy mechs with 2 melee weapons while using your ranged ones as support. On the other hand, you will need to be quick with your fingers to avoid any heavy attacks coming your way since you aren’t built to withstand too much damage.
What Do You Need for Speed Fighter Build?
First of all, to get access to all the necessary parts for this high burst damage build you will need to be in the later stage of Chapter 2. Once you get there, follow our list below for the necessary parts for this powerful speed fighter:
- R-ARM UNIT – MA-T-222 KYORAI (Napalm Bomb Launcher)
- R-LEFT UNIT – PB-033M ASHMEAD (Pile Bunker Melee Weapon)
- R-BACK UNIT – Vvc-70VPM (Plasma Missile Launcher)
- L–BACK UNIT – HI-32: BU-TT/A (Pulse Blade Melee Weapon)
- HEAD – NACHTREIHER/44E
- CORE – CC2000 ORBITER
- ARMS – EL-TA-10 FIRMEZA
- LEGS – KASUAR/42Z
- BOOSTER – AB-J-137 KIKAKU
- FCS – FC-006 ABBOT
- GENERATOR – DF-GN-06 MING-TANG
There are a couple of things to keep in mind here. The EL-TA-10 FIRMEZA Arms have the Melee Specialization of 110 that simply increases the melee damage you can deal. Additionally, the Booster AB-J-137 KIKAKU has a Melee Attack Thrust of 14,019 that will allow you to perform a quicker homing lunge and further boost your melee weapon capabilities.
Don’t forget to upgrade Melee Weapons Drive Control Tuning and Direct Hit Modifier Damage Tuning in your OS Tuning shop. The first increases your melee damage while the second one increases the damage you deal to staggered enemies. Both can benefit you greatly in this build and make you a fierce killer.
How Does the Build Work?
Your strategy for killing other mechs revolves around your 2 ranged and 2 melee weapons. You first need to shower them with Napalm Bombs and Plasma Missiles (or just one if the other one is on CD) and then dash forward to strike them with your two powerful melee weapons.
You might ask yourself, how can you attack your enemies with 2 melee weapons instead of 1? Well, that will be made possible with the Weapon Bay that you can purchase from the OS Tuning shop that allows you to stash your secondary blade on your shoulder.
The main play here is to slash your enemy once with the equipped weapon, switch to secondary and slash again, then switch back to the primary, etc. That will allow you to have a steady damage output. The ranged weapons will provide additional support damage that will allow you to stagger the enemy faster while melting down their HP.
