How to Customize Your Ship in Skull & Bones Beta

Can you customize your ship?

As the captain of your pirate crew, you need to have street cred. A ship is equivalent to someone of high stature showing off their luxury car. Owning a ship is a privilege and it’s up to you to make sure you can keep up with appearances. If you want to become a pirate king you’ll need to have a ship that matches your title. In Skull & Bones, you will have the opportunity to customize your own ship and you’ll be able to make changes depending on how you play the game. Here’s everything we know about customizing your own ship in the Skull & Bones Beta.

How to Modify Your Ship in Skull & Bones Beta

Skull & Bones is a video game that allows you to have your own pirate crew, set sail through the Coast of Africa, and go on different missions. Skull & Bones will allow you to have customizations on your ship so you don’t have to worry about your ship looking generic and bland. Every ship will have its own unique spin. According to Ubisoft:

“On your journey to become a pirate king, you’ll acquire unique and formidable warships – so whether you want a quick and agile vessel or a towering battleship, you’ll always have something in your arsenal to fit your play style. In addition to finding a vessel that suits you, you’ll be able to customize your ship with different weapons and crewmates to further refine your experience. Pirates who want to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies, at first sight, can also customize nearly every visual aspect of their ship, including sails, figureheads, ship wheels, paint colors, and pirate captain.”

You’ll be able to customize the sails, figureheads, cargo, weapons, and other elements that make a great ship. Unfortunately, since the game is still in Beta mode we don’t have a lot of information over customizing ships. When the game is out of beta and released as a full game we will be seeing customizations in the future.

How to Join the Skull & Bones Beta

If you want to join other players and experience the beta before the game releases, you’re going to want to be patient. In order to play the beta you need to be selected by Ubisoft. You can do this by making an account and signing up for the Beta on Ubisoft’s website. Not many people will be selected to play the game. If you have been selected, you will have the opportunity to invite friends. The beta is available between August 25th and August 28th.
