How to Catch Vibrava in Dragonspiral Descent Pokémon Go

How to Catch Vibrava in the Dragonspiral Descent in Pokémon Go

Vibrava, the Vibration Pokémon, evolves into Flygon and is the second evolution of Trapinch. If you are looking to complete the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge in Pokemon Go, you might be wondering how to catch Vibrava. It is undoubtedly one of the tougher Pokémon to encounter for this event.

In short, there is no surefire way to encounter Vibrava in the Dragonspiral Descent Collection Challenge like some of the other Pokémon. You can try a couple of tricks to slightly increase your odds, though.

There are a select few Pokémon spawn more often in the wild, and those include:

  • VUlpix
  • Seel
  • Dratini
  • Mareep
  • Sneasel
  • Trapinch
  • Blitzle
  • Darumaka
  • Dragonair
  • Vibrava
  • Deino

Unfortunately, out of these Pokémon, Dragonair, Vibrava, and Deino are rarer spawns. So you may be thinking, why not just catch a bunch of Trapinch and evolve it? Well, that won’t work because you need to catch them in the wild for the Collection Challenge to give you credit. Raids and Field Research Tasks are a no-go.

Considering its increased spawn rate, you can boost it even further by activating a Lure and Incense if you have a Pokéstop somewhere nearby. It will help if there are a few Pokéstops in the vicinity, which would allow you to activate these items and travel around between the locations.

That said, playing the game a lot is really the only way you can catch a Vibrava in Pokémon Go during the Dragonspiral Descent event. Even then, you still might not see one if luck is not on your side. Hopefully, you will manage to find one before the event ends on December 12 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
