On Sunday, July 25, EA presented the official Madden 22 ratings on an ESPN’ Ratings Kick-Off Show’. The half-hour program featured former Bengals wide receiver Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson and NFL analyst Mina Kimes. While several notable stars were revealed during the special teaser clip, some of the biggest revelations came with the Madden 22 rookie ratings.

Madden 22 Rookie Ratings
The Madden 22 rookie reveal was chock-full of surprises, not the least of which found the Jacksonville Jaguars’ #1 overall pick, Trevor Lawrence, without the highest rookie rating…
With that being said, the top 10 rookie ratings in Madden 22 are as follows:
- Kyle Pitts (81) – TE – Atlanta Falcons
- Trevor Lawrence (78) – QB – Jacksonville Jaguars
- Pat Surtain II (76) – CB – Denver Broncos
- Jaylen Waddle (76) – WR – Miami Dolphins
- Ja’Marr Chase (75) – WR – Cincinnati Bengals
- Penei Sewell (75) – OT – Detroit Lions
- Zach Wilson (75) – QB – New York Jets
- DeVonta Smith (75) – WR – Philadelphia Eagles
- Trey Lance (74) – QB – San Francisco 49ers
- Justin Fields (74) – QB – Chicago Bears

Madden 22 also posted their schedule for the upcoming rating reveals later this week, which is as follows:
- Tuesday, July 27: The Top 10 Defensive Linemen will be announced by Vince Wilfork on First Take, and the Top 10 Edge Rushers will be revealed later on SportsCenter and NFL Live.
- Wednesday, July 28: The Top 10 Running Backs will be announced by Marshawn Lynch on First Take, and the full Running Back ratings will be revealed later on SportsCenter and NFL Live.
- Thursday, July 29: The Top 10 Safeties will be announced by Ed Reed, with the additional Safety ratings being revealed later on SportsCenter and NFL Live.
- Friday, July 30: The Top 10 Quarterbacks will be revealed by Alex Smith on First Take, with additional ratings coming later on SportsCenter and NFL Live.
