How Many Planets Are in Honkai Star Rail?

Forget traveling through Mondstadt, because, in this new RPG created by the same developers that crafted Genshin Impact, we’re traveling through different planets to save the universe. You take on the role of the protagonist who is venturing through space on a train. Yes, you read that correctly. You’re on the Astral Express with your friends and our next destination is whichever planet needs protecting. How many planets can you venture to on the Astral Express? In this guide, we’re going to tell you how many planets are in Honkai Star Rail.

What Planets can you Travel to in Honkai Star Rail?

Honkai Star Rail is unique because we’re not traveling to different regions such as Genshin Impact. We’re headed to different planets that have unique monsters, a rich history told by civilians, and new locations to explore. Just how many planets can you explore with your trail-blazing peers? If you’ve been playing the game while following the main story you should be on the ice planet better known as Jaril-VI.

So far we have seen the Astral Express, Herta Station, and Jaril-VI. Jaril-VI is the ice planet where you are told there is a Stellaron located there that needs to be removed. As you travel with your companions you learn of the dark secret behind the deep freeze and you meet interesting characters that you can earn through a similar concept as wishing such as in Genshin Impact.

For right now, it seems that Jaril-VI is the only other planet that’s established in the game. That doesn’t mean there won’t be some in the near future. The story is already set up to a point where your characters need to travel.

How to Unlock Jaril-VI in Honkai Star Rail

If you want to unlock Jaril-VI and explore the vast ice planet you’re going to want to keep on following the main story. The planet opens up fairly early on in the game so you have plenty of time to explore the Herta Space Station, The Astral Express, and eventually, you’ll be able to get to Jaril-VI. Make sure your characters are strong enough! You’ll want to start focusing on a set team as soon as possible so keep leveling them up, build up their stats, and ascend them when you can.
