Can You Go Back to the Space Station in Honkai: Star Rail? Answered

Your journey across the stars begins in the energy conserved by the Stelleron where you are crafted and freed by Kafka and Silver Wolf and named The Trailblazer (fitting name). Through the completion of Quests and exploring your first real open-world experience of the Herta Space Station, you quickly learn that within the walls of this Ship, there is a ton of Treasure to obtain and enemies to fight. But to make any real progression throughout Star Rail’s narrative, you will need to drop into different world, exploring their open design and hitting Story Quests. But once you leave the Herta Space Station, can you return to it at any given time in Honkai: Star Rail? We have the answers below.

Can you Return to the Herta Space Station?

Once you gain access to the Astral Express which will take you into different worlds to complete Trailblazing Missions for ‘The Voyage Continues’ Quest, you will be able to drop into different Planets to complete specific Missions and farm your levels. This is where the majority of the gameplay lies as the Herta Space Station primarily acts as the Prologue for the Star Rail story where the Space Station’s defences are torn apart by the Doomsday Beast. In an appropriate response to this, you and many others make their escape on the Astral Express and perform the first Space Jump for the Trailblazer in finding a Planet to safely reside on and continue the adventure onwards across the stars.

Whilst the Herta Space Station defences may have been badly damaged by the Doomsday Beast, you can in fact return to the Station whenever you please. To do so, you simply need to bring up the Map to set a Waypoint for the Space Station so that you can travel to it. This is for anyone in playing Star Rail that may have missed collecting all of the Chests and Secrets in the Herta Space Station as there is a lot to find on the Station itself. You can return at any point so long as you utilize the Astral Express Map and set a Waypoint/Teleport back to the Station.
