Can You Play Minecraft Legends Offline?

Minecraft Legends is here and many players are excited to try out the latest spin-off of the popular game. As the original Minecraft was an indie release people got used to playing it offline if their connection was bad or if they were simply on a vacation where they didn’t have any internet connection at all.

Is it Possible to Play Minecraft Legends Offline?

Unfortunately, Minecraft Legends can’t be played offline. You need to be connected to the internet to run the game and if your internet connection gets interrupted while playing you will immediately be dropped from the game.

There’s been some speculation about whether the offline play would be possible since some Reddit users noted that they in fact did play it offline. For now, it seems those were just trolls as we tested it on PC and can confirm that Minecraft Legends doesn’t work without an internet connection.
