We love a good space exploration game and Everspace 2 is fueling our love for everything space. We’ve been fans of space games ever since Destiny came into fruition and No Man’s Sky. There are just not enough space games out there for us to enjoy, so Everspace 2, was a breath of fresh air. The game provides you with tons of loot you can gather from planets you discover, secrets that need to be uncovered, and enemies you can destroy. In the game, you have probably come across a secure container and no matter how many times you’ve shot at it it won’t open. Here’s how to open the secure container in Everspace 2.
Opening the Secure Container in Everspace 2
When you’re playing a game there comes a time when you have reached a certain object you can interact with but have zero ideas on how to operate it. That’s the secure container that has tons of players scrambling trying to figure out what’s inside of it. You’ve probably tried shooting it in order to destroy it but nothing works. Here’s what you need to do in order to open the secure container in Everspace 2.
The secure container is located at Rhaim Gate in Khait Nebula. There’s also another secure container that’s located in an irradiated ship with a protector sphere. In order to unlock secure containers around Everspace 2 you will need to gain find an access key. You can find these access keys by farming elites. Just use the key close to the secure container and you will be able to hack into it. If you don’t want to farm-killing elites you can always purchase them from traders either with credits or exchanging resources.
What’s inside a Secure Container in Everspace 2?
A secure container will have plenty of loot that has resources, equipment, blueprints, credits, or ship decals colors. These containers are the highlight of looting because you never know what you will be getting when you open them. We personally love the idea of getting ship decals or equipment because we love customizing our characters and ship. There are a few different containers you will be able to find as you’re traveling and those are:
- Basic containers (resources)
- Equipment containers (weapons or devices)
- Secure containers (combines containers together such as basic and tech)
- Tech containers (blueprints and ship decals)
- Special tech containers (modify weapons)
