Kerbal Space Program is an insanely popular video game series with dedicated fans. A community who actively makes their own mods, add-ons and creations. Since Kerbal Space Program focuses on outside the box thinking it makes sense that mods are so common. The developer, Intercept Games, loves to highlight community mods and the way the community solves the gameplay loop. This is our list of some of the Kerbal Space Program 2 mods we’ve come across.

Kerbal Space Program 2 Mods
Cheats Menu
A classic in gaming, cheats! This enables a menu which lets you turn off and on many different variables. Such as no damage, infinite propellant, infinite electricity, unbreakable joints and parts, no gravity, no aerodynamics, no thermodynamics and ignore max temp. Basically you can become a kerbal god.
FPS Limiter
This is going to be a must-have mod for the game until it is properly implemented by the developers. Kerbal Space Program has a lot of physics based math and interactions going on while looking very simple so once something blows up it can cause your game to compute things very quickly and may cause a crash or your GPU to overheat. Who knows! Always better to be safe.
Kerbal Join Re-Reinforcement
What this mod does it make sure that all the joints on your wobbly craft are reinforced correctly. Right now Kerbal Space Program 2 is in a very strange situation where the sequel of the game has moved away from some of the last game’s already established parameters and rules. This one makes sure to line it up with the previous title.
Kerbal Optimization Program
Since Kerbal Space Program 2 is in an early access state there’s bound to be issues with optimization. This mod aims to make sure that the game’s optimization is as solid as ever, at least until the devs can get the game into a more optimized spot.
Lag Remover
Another optimization mod for the game. This one targets different areas than the previous mod so you can have the two going at one time. This mod focuses on making terrain and textures more simple so the game can operate without a heavy load from them.
Lazy Orbit
Lazy Orbit makes it easier to set a vessels orbit, makes it easier to land on planets and rendezvousing with other vessels. With the physics engine being as out of control right now in the game this mod with all the others ones we listed are definitely going to be worth checking out.
Maneuver Node Controller
For some reason currently the game doesn’t have a way to finely tune maneuver nodes. This will add a custom GUI to the game which can allow you to be more granular in what you are wanting to do with movement in space.
Custom Flags
Custom Flags gives you the ability to add any graphic to your flags in the game. Kerbal Space 1 had this built into the game so hopefully its only a matter of time until Kerbal Space 2 has it as well.
KSP Simple Steam Launch
Simple Steam Launch bypasses the Take Two launcher that the game “requires” you to download and use. After running this mod once it will fully pass on all the Steam command lines you have for launching the game plus it will set up a working path for you so you don’t have to rerun the mod again.
This list of mods includes things that should hopefully be fixed by the dev team while the game is in early access so depending on when you see this article maybe it will be out of date. But, as of now, we highly recommend these mods to enhance your experience trying to get to the Mun.
