How to Complete Testing Ground 8 in Atomic Heart

Testing Grounds, or Polygons, are some optional mazes or puzzles that will grant you several weapon and utility upgrades that will be very useful for you, if you decide to look for them. These Grounds can get very messy and complicated if you go by yourself and don’t have the patience necesarry to unveil all of their secrets. That’s why we are together in this, my friend, to help each other. For that reason, continue reading to know how to complete Testing Ground 8 in Atomic Heart.

How to Complete Testing Ground 8 in Atomic Heart

After entering Testing Ground 8, which is the same as Polygon 8, you will have to take two right runs and then Shok the magnets to proceed and lower the platform that has some handholds. Jump on it and then continue to climb. Then, jump on the handholds that are located behind you and proceed to jump to the ones on your left. Climb to your right and jump to the blue colored platform that is right behind you.

Bronze Lootyagin

Climb up the wall and then Shok the ceiling to walk to the other side. Then, go ahead and jump first to the central platform, and then to the blue platform. Go ahead and climb up the red platform just to jump to the door immediately after. Go through the next door, and you grab the chest containing the Zcezedochka-Extra Saw. Then, head to the staircase on the left.

Silver Lootyagin

You will be at the door that belongs to the first puzzle. Head to the right past the blue and green truck, and you will find an open door and some enemies inside that room. Defeat them and head to the door on the other side of the room by climbing up the containers. After heading through the door, head down the hall and go left on the first opening to discover the second chest containing the Fox-Blade and Dominator-Homing Bullets.

Gold Lootyagin

Continue towards a massive room and jump across the platforms to get to the open door. There is a destroyed chest here, so no upgrade here. Go into the room with the Polymer and drop into the blue hole.

In this new room, go ahead and place five orbs in the five slots that are above the door. Then, on the room beside you, push the red button. Return rapidly and then enter the door.

Power Orb Puzzle

Walk down the staircase and through the door under it. There will be a platform with a power orb, go ahead and walk forward through the ramp and collect it. Return to above the stairs and place it.

Jump to the handholds that just moved and climb around the gold machine that is hanging in the ceiling. Get to the top of it and reach the yellow ledge.

You will see the Power Orb you previously moved by moving forward a wooden ramp. Remove it and place it on the new platform to make another structure to move towards you. Once on top of it, collect the Power Orb to move the platform you are currently standing on.

Drop to the wooden platform to the right and time your jump correctly to jump onto the yellow handholds.

Climb to the left and jump on some more handholds located at the left well. Pull yourself to the ledge on your right and then go through the door you find on top. It will contain the last chest that contains the MP-Reinforced Bolt Frame and Swede-Blade.

As you can see above, you will be able to collect three upgrades in Polygon 8/Testing Ground 8. It can get a bit confusing, but if you know follow the path shown in each paragraph, you can even find a logical way to traverse the Testing Ground on your own. But anyway, watch out for those enemies in the giant room and don’t fall to your death. Good luck!
