Is Sounds of the Show in MLB The Show 23? Answered

The sounds of silence.

MLB The Show is the most immersive baseball simulation on the market. It’s meticulously crafted to give players the most realistic MLB experience. However, there are few things in this world that are perfect, and even less that can’t be improved upon. Sounds of the Show is a feature that assists in making the game both more realistic and more ridiculous. Players love the feature, but did it make it’s return?

Is Sounds of the Show in MLB The Show 23?

Sounds of the Show allows players to import their own audio to be natively used in-game. This means you can add your favorite playlist or even you and your friends yelling like goofballs. This lets you customize team-specific audio and even player specific to give more personality to everything. Imagine hearing an Icewear Vezzo song as a Tigers player walks up to the mound. Or giving your Road to the Show player their own chant that you created.

New or not included chants or audio from stadiums can be incorporated to further enhance the experience. It’s to the point where there are dedicated groups to give the most authentic audio for others to download and use in game.

For people looking for the feature, there’s good news and bad news. The good news is that Sounds of the Show is included in MLB the Show 23. The bad news is that it is only available on the PS4 version of the game. Any next-gen, Xbox, or cloud versions of the game can not use Sounds of the Show. If you want to hear that Taylor Swift song, you’ll need to use Spotify or some other music player.
