Hunt: Showdown – Best Legendary Hunters

Play the game to your advantage. Or not!

Hunt: Showdown will ask you to kit out your player character from the ground up, especially if they happen to be free Hunters. If you’ve put money into them however, they will come with both equipment and traits, with some of the most detailed units (skins) coming from the Legendary lot. With so many choices available, you may be thinking if some deserve to be selected or even bought more so than others. Don’t it get as deep as that?

Best Legendary Hunters in Hunt: Showdown

The short answer is no, it does not. Pick whoever you want.

First things first, it is important to note that Legendary Hunters, regardless of its quality or even rarity – such as being DLC exclusive – all come with three traits. These are randomly generated, therefor specific bonuses to having any of these Legendary Hunters are superficial at best. Happen to like the silly look of parading around as the Red Shirt to really flex against your opponents as? Or are you a bit of a meme-r yourself and want to embody the joke character of the lot with the Redneck and carry around a pitchfork as your own weapon instead? Go for it – you don’t have to think any harder than that.

That is so say however that skin designs that have a darker colour scheme are always the ones to prioritise. These give you a natural advantage in battle since these characters are harder to notice across the maps. These obviously have an even greater advantage if you happen to spawn in night maps.

Legendary Hunters to note that are dark colour themed are as follows:

  • Cain
  • Headmans
  • Reptilian
  • Felis
  • Weird Sister

Also, it goes without saying that taking note of certain events and conditions will reward you with a bonus for playing as certain Hunters. So look out for the conditions of all events in the game. Otherwise, play in the skin you want!
