How to Complete the ‘Solved by the Bell’ Puzzle

With the Musical Map in hand, players need to go to Clagmar Castle inside the Hogwarts Region of Clagmar Coast. Inside the Castle you will find a tower of nine Bells. You must play a symphony using the Bells but it can only be played in a particular order. For the sake of this guide we will number these Bells from top to bottom, left to right. With number one and two being the top left, two being top right and so on. The order then in which you should hit the Bells are: 8, 5, 3, 4, 5, 1, 2, 4.

By playing this melody you will hear the iconic symphony of the Hedwig’s Theme Song. When the symphony ends, a Treasure Chest will fall beside you. Inside you will obtain the Treasure-Seeker’s Longcoat. In doing so, the Side Quest will end as you have found the Treasure through the use of the Musical Map.

If you have any problems with inputting the melody or upon successfully entering the sequence above, the melody of the Theme Song does not play in full, all you have to do is save and reload the game. You may experience your execution of Spells result in the Bells being hit twice instead of a single time. Inputting two of the same chord in the melody instead of just once. It may be best to save before inputting the sequence, that way any problems can be easily resolved by a simple reload. Alternatively, you can leave the area before finishing the sequence by fast-travelling to another Floo Flame and then returning to the Clagmar Castle Floo Flame. You will be able to start again with the sequence.
