Clash Royale gives players rewards for playing. The rewards vary depending on how you perform in game, namely winning or losing (or the rare draw). Because of this there’s an added sense of competitiveness as players try to earn trophies to increase their rank. For some, this provides additional fun and depth to the game as they try to climb as high as possible. For others, it may prove to be too much of a hassle as they face stronger and stronger opponents. Thankfully, for those that want a less intense mode of play, the party button exists.
What is Party Mode in Clash Royale
Party mode gives players a chance to play a variety of game modes, but casually. You still earn quite a few rewards playing, but you don’t have to worry about gaining or losing trophies. All matches played give you crowns, chests, and victory gold. You get these rewards regardless of how you do in a match. This makes it perfect for experimenting with decks or just a quick and simple session. You aren’t beholden to playing a way that you may not enjoy. There are 1v1 and 2v2 modes, allowing players to go at it solo or with friends/soon to be friends. The game modes rotate frequently, but there’s a few notable ones.
1v1 Rotating Games
- Draft
- Lumberjack Rush
- Sudden Death
- Triple Draft
- Triple Elixir
- Wall Breakers Party
2v2 Rotating Games
- Double Elixir
- Touchdown Draft
- Triple Elixir
Don’t get discouraged if a mode you like rotates out as, eventually, they tend to come back. Just keep an eye peeled for the return.
