How to get Horklump Juice in Hogwarts Legacy

According to some supplementary Wizarding World material, Horklumps are small critters that vaguely resemble mushrooms. They look like mushroom caps from above but have fleshy maws and tentacles hidden below the ground. Kind of unsettling, but apparently their juice has a thousand uses! Here’s how to get Horklump Juice in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to get Horklump Juice in Hogwarts Legacy

Horklump Juice is an ingredient in Hogwarts Legacy for potion crafting. Specifically, a drop of Horklump Juice is one of the ingredients required in the creation of a Wiggenweld Potion, alongside a Dittany Leaf. Wiggenweld Potions restore health when consumed, making them vital for surviving in combat encounters, which is why you’ll want as much of this stuff as you can carry.

There are two ways you can obtain Horklump Juice, depending on how much money you have on hand and whether you feel like going out of your way to look for Horklumps. If you’ve got some cash and are feeling lazy, just visit J. Pippins Potions and buy bottles of Horklump Juice directly. They also sell pre-made Wiggenweld Potions, though those do cost more.

Finding Horklumps

If you’re broke, then your next best option for finding Horklumps and their juice is to pay a visit to Horklump Hollow. This is a little cavern located due north of Hogsmeade. As soon as you find it the first time, it’ll be marked on your map, after which you can return every now and then to gather more materials.

Within Horklump Hollow, you’ll find multiple deposits of Horklumps on the ground. They’ll get a little spiky if you get close, but don’t worry, they’re harmless. Just gather next to them to receive some Horklump Juice. Collection spots refill every three in-game days, so if you really want to amass a lot of Horklump Juice, just use the wait function on your map a few times to replenish them.

Remember, you can never have too many Wiggenweld Potions, which means you can never have too much Horklump Juice, unsettling though its origin may be.
