How to Recruit Anna in Fire Emblem Engage

The Fire Emblem universe has brought a lot of iconic characters to the video game industry. Marth, Ike, Byleth, Roy, and so on (yes, I’ve only mentioned the Smash Bros. Fire Emblem characters, sue me). But if there is someone that deserves a spot in the franchise, it is Anna. She has been present in almost all Fire Emblem titles, being a guide, merchant, and even doing some cameo appearances. Today, however, we will get the chance to recruit her, so you better prepare yourself for an awesome companion. Here is how to recruit Anna in Fire Emblem Engage.

How to Recruit Anna

Like I said before, Anna is one of the most popular characters in the Fire Emblem franchise, and now we get to recruit her. To do so, you will have to recruit her during the Mysterious Merchant paralogue, which happens between Chapters 6 and 7. It is quite simple to recruit her, so don’t get distracted. You will need to head out to the Bandit Hideout and watch for the thieves that are opening some chests. Anna is inside one of them, and once one of the thieves attempts to open her chest, she will jump out and start running. In order to recruit her, you will have to approach her mid-battle with Alear and use a turn to talk to her. Once you do so, defeat all the bandits and once every single one of them is dealt with, Anna will be recruited.

She is a great fighter that has a starting class of an Axe Fighter, meaning that she can pack a punch (or an axe) during a battle. That’s pretty much it, I hope you get to enjoy your new recruit, Anna. Finally, we get to see her join our party! Be sure to make the best out of her abilities and keep on recruiting more hidden characters.
