The game has been around for a few months now and it’s high time to compare and see which platform is the best for playing it. Here’s everything you need to know about the game’s experience and the most suitable platform for it.

What’s the Best Platform to Play Disney Dreamlight Valley on?

The game is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, mac operating systems, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. However, only one of them takes the crown of being the best platform for Gameloft’s title.

Nintendo Switch

Let’s start with the worst one. Nintendo Switch has not seen good days with the game. A quick research on various forums proves why Switch is struggling to keep up in this race. It has produced occasional crashes and glitches with the overall smoothness of the game. That’s not all. Many players complain about the complexity of doing the simplest of in-game tasks on Nintendo’s device.

MacOS

Gameloft recently optimized the game for Apple’s OS. We are ruling out mac operating systems from this race, because there isn’t enough sample size.

PlayStation Devices

Disney Dreamlight Valley is great on both PS5 and PS4. However, the Sony devices don’t support cross-platform play. Even though the game itself has enabled the cross-progression, the PlayStation restricts it from doing so.

Performance on PS4 and PS5 is splendid. If users don’t want to play it on other devices, Sony devices can work.

Xbox Devices

The game runs as smoothly as it does on PlayStation devices. However, Xbox has cross-platform support, and it offers the game for free with Microsoft’s gamepass. This makes the title preferable on the Xbox devices, especially when there is no performance related problems.

Disney Dreamlight Valley on Microsoft Windows/PC

The game runs fantastically well on PC. In fact, Windows has the most preferable ratings out of all the platforms. The game’s performance and quality is much better on PC when paired with good hardware. Windows offers much more flexibility thanks to the cross-platform play, usage of Xbox account on PC, and controller support.

There is no doubt about PC being the best platform to play Disney Dreamlight Valley.
