If the references to Shoney’s in Rick and Morty are any indication, Justin Roiland apparently has a distinct fondness for American chain restaurants. Apparently, one of the restaurants he likes is Applebee’s, which I’m guessing is why he stuck an entire Applebee’s location in High on Life. Here’s how to get into Applebee’s and pay your bill in High on Life.

How to Get Into Applebee’s and Pay Your Bill in High on Life

Throughout High on Life’s story, your sister Lizzie is looking for ways to cope with being stranded on an alien world and having to live within five feet of Gene. She eventually starts up a relationship with an alien in Blim City named Tweeg, and late in the game, Gene informs you that Lizzie and Tweeg have gone missing. The precise timing for this varies depending on the order you do your bounties, with most players reporting it happens after defeating Dr. Giblets. Gene will always inform you when Lizzie has gone MIA, regardless of the order.

Gene suggests you visit the Space Applebee’s that Tweeg works in to find them. He’ll give you a waypoint to find the restaurant in the city, and when you get there, you can just walk right in the front door. Because, you know, it’s a restaurant.

Paying Your Bill

Here’s the important part: You and Kenny will get a table and a delightful little meal together, after which you’ll look at the window and see Lizzie attempting to drag Tweeg off to his Space RV to travel the cosmos (against Tweeg’s wishes). You’ll automatically get up from the table to go stop them, but before you leave, look back down at the table to see your bill. Interact with the bill to cover the 34 Peso tab. Doing this will net you the “Eatin’ Good in the Neighborhood” achievement, as well as keep Kenny happy. He really likes Applebee’s and doesn’t want to get blacklisted.

Keep in mind that this achievement is missable if you don’t pay the bill before you leave the Applebee’s. I know your sister is harassing an innocent alien, but that’s no excuse for dine-and-dashing. Let’s have some decorum here.
