All Festive Fish and How to Catch Them in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There never seems to be a break or dull moment in Gameloft’s Disney Dreamlight Valley. An early access live service life sim that’s seemingly receiving major updates bimonthly, there is always a new reason to jump into Dreamlight Valley and see what’s what!

And that especially rings true for this most recent update, Missions from Uncharted Space. The update brings with it bug fixes, improvements to gameplay, a big Toy Story expansion, and a personal favorite of many, festive holiday event activities!

This holiday season Disney Dreamlight Valley players can unlock sweet rewards via the Festive-themed Star Path and even more through the holiday-specific Dreamlight Duties. One of them, the “Even Fish Are Festive” requires players to catch 5 different holiday-themed fish. But what are they, and how can you catch them? Well, let’s go over all of the Festive Fish and explain how to catch them in Disney Dreamlight Valley!

All Festive Fish and How to Catch Them in Disney Dreamlight Valley

If you’re looking to get your hands on all of the 5 Festive Fish you’ll need in order to complete the Even Fish Are Festive quest, or even just to keep as a memento for yourself there are going to be 5 different locations to find them, each being associated with a specific fish.

As it currently stands, there’s actually no way that’s been figured out how to catch these fish as it’s just simply not possible. It’s unclear whether or not this is a bug. Something similar happened during a food Dreamlight Duty during the Halloween season where bug made it impossible to complete it until it was eventually fixed.

So this will be something that will have to be fixed before the holidays as well. Whatever the case, it’s certain that catching these critters will need to be done by going to the fishing hole in each location and using bait on your fishing line to sniff them out.

Without further ado though, here are the Festive Fish and their fishing locations!

Festive Bass – Can be found in the Peaceful Meadow.

Festive Squid – Can be found in the Glade of Trust.

Festive Anglerfish – Can be found in the Forgotten Lands.

Festive Salmon – Can be found in Sunlit Plateau.

Festive Fugu – Can be found in Dazzle Beach during rain.

You’ll know for sure that you’ve caught one when it happens because each of these fish is actually adorned with a tiny Santa hat which makes them look so adorable!
