How to play with friends in Darktide
Thankfully, this feature can be fully done from the game itself, so no need to play around with external softwares.
When in the game, a set of four players that take on a mission together is called a strike team. So before you enter a game, you’ll want to make sure that you assemble your own strike team with your friends. If you won’t be playing with enough friends to make a strike team of four, then don’t worry. The game will find other players when matchmaking to fill the positions.

Make sure your friends are online and using the same game platform.
In the Mourning Star, press ‘esc’ to be brought to a menu. Click on ‘Socials’ to open up your strike team page.
On this menu, you can see all of your currently active and inactive friends. You can also source other players that you have encountered on previous missions or the other players in the Mourningstar with you. When you select a player that is on the game and online, then you can invite them to be a part of your strike team, among other social features.
They will have to go on to the ‘invites’ page to accept your request and join your team. They will then be brought to your lobby.
With your strike team as full as you want it, then simply start a mission and you’ll all be brought along to slaughter hundreds of hordes together.
