Let’s be honest, since the inception of Pokémon, the Fire types have been extremely favored and loved by fans over the other types. Really, who didn’t pick Charmander in Generation 1? And if you find someone that pick Bulbasaur, just run. You can’t trust those people. Anyway, before the Bulbasaur cult finds me and disappear me, what I’m trying to say is that Fire types are the crème de la crème of Pokémon types, at least in my opinion and of the majority. So it is no surprise that in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the Fire types have turned into fan favorites, in a very small period of time. Anyway, here are the best Fire-Type Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet.
Best Fire-Type Pokémon
Before we begin, while there are other Fire-Type Pokémon that could potentially head this list, we are only including those Pokémon exclusive to the Paldea region. There are a good amount of Fire-Types in general, and one can argue they are all unique and memorable in a way. In order to do this list, we use the Base Stat total (BST). Anyway, here are the best Fire-Type Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet.
Best Fire-Type Pokémon List
Pokémon | BST | Description |
Scovillain | 486 | A unique Pokémon being both a Fire and Grass Type. Strong stats in Attack and Special Attack, but lacking in Speed, HP, Defense and Special Defense. |
Ceruledge | 525 | A Fire and Ghost Type, Ceruledge is one of Charcadet’s evolutions (exclusive to Violet). It is more physical than Armarouge, with low Special Attack. Focus on physical attacs with this Pokémon. |
Armarouge | 525 | The Scarlet evolution of Charcadet, Armarouge is a Fire and Psychic type Pokémon, specializing in Special Attacs. It is Ceruledge’s counterpart, as its Attack is low. Stack up Special Attacks with Armarouge. |
Skeledirge | 530 | The final evolution of starter Pokémon, Fuecoco. While being the slowest, he is also the best special attacker of all starter Pokémon. Focus on both Attack and Special Attacks thanks to its great Defense. |
Chi-Yu | 570 | Chi-Yu is a non-evoutionary Legendary Pokémon. It is part of The Four Treasures of Ruin. What it lacks initially in Health, it is compensated with Special Attack. |
