One of the more beloved tropes that is in almost every Pokemon mainline game is Psuedo-Legendaries. Not really a legendary but rare and unique enough that it’s just as special when you find and capture one. Long-time favorite Psuedo-Legendaries like Dragonite, Tyranatar ad Salemance are still loved today. So of course many Pokemon fans look forward to the Pseudo-Legendary for Scarlet and Violet. With the games’ release that Pokemon is Frigibax and it’s evolution line.
Frigibax evolves into Arctibax and then finally Baxcalibur. Very mighty and cool-looking Dragon-Type Pokemon that are also Ice-Type! Finally, those troublesome super effective Ice moves for Dragons are no concern for these guys. The real question on everyone’s mind however is, how do you evolve Frigibax into Baxcalibur? How to Evolve into Baxcalibur
Some newer players might assume that a Pseudo-Legendary would have some special conditions to evolve it, being so special and all. However, it is traditionally seen that the obtainment of a Pseudo-Legendary is condition enough. Most Pokemon with the Pseudo-Legendary title like Dragonite and Slamence are just evolved through simple evolution.
However, the catch if you can call it that is it is usually very high level to do so. With some grinding and training, you can evolve Frigibax into Articbax at level 35. Then you can evolve Articbax into Baxcalibur at level 54. That’s all there really is to it!
The question we should really be asking is where to find Frigibax. Of course, you’ll want to locate it as soon as possible in this open-world and get your Baxcalibur instead of late game like most older Pokemon games.

Where to Find Frigibax
Frigibax is actually found all over the northern part of the Paldea region. Although it is very likely they do not spawn as often as most other Pokemon found there. Being a Pseudo-Legendary means they don’t spawn as much. It’s why they are unique and hard to find.
So if you want to take advantage of the open-world of Scarlet and Violet, head up there early. Try to avoid more powerful Pokemon, and put your focus on finding Frigibax. Then you’ll have an awesome Baxcalibur on your team in no time and take on the rest of the region!
