Frozen Flame is out in its early access stage. And although “early access” is sometimes synonym to a work in progress with several evident issues still present in the game, it is turning out to be a quite enjoyable experience. A survival game with RPG elements? Sign me up from the start and equip me with a Returnal Stone (the one that makes you resurrect in-game). And with it being an ARPG of sorts, the progression system in the game is clearly set by the amount of experience one can get by playing it, and dying a lot in this case. Those experience points are called Flame, and there are several ways you will be able to collect it. Here is how to get Flame in Frozen Flame.
How to Get Flame in Frozen Flame
In order to gather Flame in the game, you can do several different stuff. The most obvious way of collecting it, like any other RPG, is to complete the missions that you are currently assigned to. These will go from building to crafting, killing a certain enemy or a bunch of them. Once finished, the mission will reward you with Flame. Other way to collect Flame is by killing enemies, specially the ones that are glowing blue. That means that they are carrying a significant amount of Flame and are being boosted by it. Take care of main mission enemy objectives, and you will receive a significant amount of Flame as well. You can also collect certain objects that are sprayed with Flame. Finally, there are several Rituals that are essentially time trials that involve activating several Ritual Stones, collecting a set amount of resources or killing enemies.
